Hard sessions put it there, and sitting still keeps it there.

The stairs the morning after are the honest report on how the session went. So is the first minute after standing up from a desk, and so is the moment you get out of the car at the end of a long drive, when the knee has been folded at the same angle for two hours and does not want to straighten on command.

Then there is the floor. Rounds on the mat, kneeling work, a job that has you down on one knee twenty times a day — the knee takes it all, stiffens up once you stop moving, and asks about it the next time you go to stand.

None of that is something being wrong with you. It is a training load and a sitting load landing on the same joint on the same day, which is exactly what happens to someone who trains hard and then spends nine hours in a chair. The only question is whether you own warmth you can use inside that day.

And the same thing happens on a much longer clock. Thirty years of getting down on one knee at work, or fifty years of the same stairs, the same driver's seat and the same hard floor, is the same load and the same sitting — it arrived over a working life instead of over a Tuesday. That is not a different situation. It is this one, stretched out, and the twenty minutes of warmth that fit inside a day fit inside that day too.

You can put it on and keep moving.

The wrap is cordless. It charges up and then goes with you — no outlet to find, nothing to trip over, and nothing to unplug when you need to stand up. That is the difference between owning warmth and using it, and it is the reason the corded pad in the closet stays in the closet.

Inside the fabric is a flat heating panel that wraps the whole knee, above and below, rather than sitting on it as a pad you have to hold in place.

There is also a vibration motor with three levels. It runs with the heat or on its own, so you can have warmth on its own on a drive, or warmth plus the lowest vibration level while you sit still after training.

The controller sits on the front of the wrap with an LED display, so you can see what it is set to and change it without taking anything off or looking for a remote. Two adjustable straps close it, one above the knee and one below, which is what lets it stay put while you move rather than sliding down the leg.

It goes on under sweats or loose trousers and stays there. Both hands stay free, and nothing about it requires you to stop what you were doing.

  • The Unknot Knee Wrap, worn on the knee

For the stairs the morning after a hard session.

Twenty minutes of warmth on the knee before the day starts, or before you train again, without lying down for it.

  • Adjusting the controller on the Unknot Knee Wrap

For a long drive, before you have to get out of the car.

Two hours at the same angle is where a knee stiffens up. This straps on over sweats and stays warm for the drive, with nothing plugged into anything.

  • The Unknot Knee Wrap, worn on the knee

For kneeling work, on either side of it.

Warm before you get down on the floor, and warm again afterwards. It is cordless, so a shop floor or a job site with no outlet you are allowed to use is not an argument.

  • Adjusting the controller on the Unknot Knee Wrap

For the twenty minutes before you train.

Warm the knee up before the session rather than spending the first ten minutes of class getting there. Heat on its own, or heat plus the lowest vibration level.

Add the Heat Belt or the Neck & Shoulder Wrap and it's Unknot Pick Two at $129.99, which is $19.99 less than buying them on their own. All three is $169.99, which is $59.98 less.

FAQ

Will it fit me?

It closes with two adjustable straps, one above the knee and one below, which is what gives it its range. We have not measured that range yet, so we are not going to print a "fits most" claim we cannot stand behind — the actual circumferences go in the spec table the moment the sample is measured. If it does not close properly on you, that is what the thirty days are for.

How do I charge it, and how long does that take?

It has a 4,000 mAh rechargeable battery. You charge it, then it runs with nothing plugged in while you wear it. The port type and the hours to full will be added once the sample has been through a full charge cycle. Practical answer for today: charge it fully before the first wear.

How long should one session be?

Twenty minutes is the size that fits inside a real day, and it is the size of habit that actually survives a week with a job in it. Use a lower setting if you are going longer, and take it off rather than leaving it on indefinitely.

Can I wear it under clothes?

Under sweats, joggers or loose trousers, yes — that is how most people will use it, on a drive or on the couch. It is a wrap with a controller on the front, so it will read as a knee wrap under anything close-fitting, and it is not trying to be invisible the way the Unknot Heat Belt is under a shirt.

How do I wash it?

Spot-clean the fabric with a damp cloth and let it dry completely before charging or wearing it. Do not put it in a washing machine and do not submerge it — it is an electric wrap with a battery and a controller in it.

Can I use it while I'm working?

Yes, and that is most of the point of it being cordless. It straps on and stays on, both hands stay free, and there is no cord to catch on a chair or a bench. At a desk it sits under the desk where nobody sees it; on a shop floor or a job site it needs no outlet and no approval to plug anything in.

What if the sessions that did this were a long time ago?

Then it is the same wrap for the same situation, on a longer clock. A knee that has done thirty years of stairs, kneeling work and long drives has had the same two loads land on it as a knee that trained hard on Tuesday and then sat still for nine hours — it took a working life rather than a week, which changes the timeline and not the wrap. It straps on the same way, and the twenty minutes are the same twenty minutes.

What is it not for?

It is a heated wrap for warmth and comfort — after training, on a drive, before a session, on either side of a day spent kneeling. It is not a device for any condition and makes no claim about one. If something feels genuinely wrong in a knee, a heated wrap is not the right place to go looking for an answer.

What happens if it stops working?

It carries a one-year warranty against defects, and if something fails inside that year we send you a new one rather than repairing it. Email support@unknotrecovery.com and a real person answers within a day.

Support emails are answered personally by the president of Unknot, within a day. No phone tree, no ticket number.
